For Virgo, 2027 is a year of two halves. The first half is quieter than you might expect, with Jupiter sitting in Leo and your 12th house of rest and retreat. That is a time for finishing things, clearing space and noticing what has been going on quietly in the background of your life. Then, on 26 July, Jupiter moves into Virgo itself, and the mood changes.
Jupiter only visits your own sign once every twelve years or so, and when it does, it tends to bring confidence, opportunity and a sense that doors are opening. The second half of 2027 is about stepping forward again. The groundwork you lay in the early months, especially around work routines and close relationships, will shape how well you use that chance.
Mars is the other planet to watch. It starts the year in Virgo, goes retrograde on 10 January, slips back into Leo and does not return to your sign until 14 May. So the energy for personal projects comes in waves rather than all at once. That is not a problem, as long as you plan around it.
The big picture for Virgo in 2027
Jupiter spends the first seven months of 2027 in Leo, your 12th house of rest, retreat and the inner life. This is a gentle, reflective placement. It favours tying up loose ends, letting go of old habits and giving yourself room to think. Jupiter has been retrograde here, and once it resumes forward motion on 13 April that inner work starts to feel more productive. Then on 26 July Jupiter enters Virgo, your 1st house of self, appearance and new starts, and stays there for the rest of the year. This is the headline event of 2027. It is a good time to put yourself forward, to begin the project that has been sitting on your list for a while, and to let other people see more of who you are.
Saturn is in Aries, your 8th house of shared money, intimacy and deep change, for the whole year. Saturn asks for structure and honesty, so matters such as joint finances, loans, inheritances, tax and the emotional side of close partnerships may need steady, patient attention. Saturn is retrograde from 9 August to 24 December, which gives you the autumn to review any arrangements you set up earlier.
Neptune also sits in Aries and your 8th house, and it softens the edges of the same themes. Where Saturn wants clear figures, Neptune can blur them, so this is a year to read the small print and to be clear about what you expect from others. Neptune is retrograde between 9 July and 15 December.
Uranus is in Gemini, your 10th house of career, reputation and public life. It moves forward from 8 February and goes retrograde again on 15 September. Uranus here tends to shake up your working life in unexpected ways, and it rewards flexibility more than long range planning. Pluto is in Aquarius, your 6th house of work routines, health and daily habits, retrograde from 8 May to 18 October. Pluto works slowly. It is gradually reshaping how you organise your days and how you look after yourself, and you may only see the full extent of that change when you look back.
Love and relationships in 2027
The early part of the year puts a spotlight on partnerships. The Sun enters Pisces, your 7th house of partnerships, marriage and close relationships, on 18 February, and the New Moon there on 8 March is a good moment to make a fresh start with someone, or to talk honestly about what you both want. Venus follows into Pisces on 26 March, which is a warmer and easier stretch for couples and for anyone hoping to meet someone.
Be aware that Mercury is retrograde from 9 February, starting in Pisces, so conversations about commitment in mid February may need to be repeated or clarified once Mercury is moving forward again on 3 March.
Romance in the lighter sense belongs to Capricorn, your 5th house. The year opens with a New Moon there on 7 January, and Venus visits from 3 February to 1 March. The penumbral lunar eclipse on 18 July in Capricorn brings a turning point around romance, creativity or children. The year closes with both Venus and Mars in Capricorn from 25 November and a New Moon there on 27 December, so December looks like a playful, sociable end to the year.
Once Venus arrives in Virgo on 20 August, you may feel more attractive and more sure of what you want. That coincides with Jupiter in your sign, so late summer is a strong time to be seen.
Work and money in 2027
Work routines and health come into focus with the annular solar eclipse on 6 February in Aquarius, your 6th house. Eclipses mark beginnings, so this is a good time to change how you work day to day, whether that means a new schedule, a different approach to your health or a shift in responsibilities. The penumbral lunar eclipse on 17 August in the same house rounds off that story and may show you what has and has not worked.
Career proper lives in Gemini, your 10th house. Mercury arrives there on 9 May, the Sun on 21 May and Venus on 8 June, with a New Moon in Gemini on 4 June. Late May into June is the best window for interviews, pitches and anything that puts your name in front of the people who matter. Mercury's retrograde from 10 June to 4 July, which carries it back into Gemini on 26 June, suggests that some of those conversations will need a second round before they settle. The Full Moon in Gemini on 13 December brings a result, or at least a clear view of where you stand, by year end.
Money, in the straightforward sense of what you earn and own, is a Libra matter for you. Mars enters Libra on 15 July, Mercury on 3 September and Venus on 14 September, with the Sun following on 23 September and a New Moon on 30 September. Early autumn is therefore a good time to review your income and to ask for what you are worth. Mercury goes retrograde on 7 October and drops back into Libra on 16 October, resuming forward motion there on 28 October, so if a financial document can wait until the end of October, let it.
