2027 is a year when Gemini gets to be unmistakably Gemini. Uranus, the planet of change and fresh thinking, spends the whole year in your own sign, and a Gemini with Uranus overhead is a Gemini who gets bored of the old script quickly. You may want a different haircut, a different job title, a different way of answering the question "so what do you do?" Some of that will feel exciting. Some of it may feel like being woken a little earlier than you planned. Either way, the version of you that ends 2027 will not be quite the same as the one who starts it.
The other big story is Jupiter. Until late July it sits in Leo, your third house of communication, learning and short trips, which suits you very well. On 26 July it moves into Virgo, your fourth house of home and family, and the focus shifts from what you are saying to where you live and who you live with.
Underneath all that, Saturn and Neptune are both in Aries, your eleventh house of friends and groups, asking you to be a bit more deliberate about who you spend your time with and what you are all hoping for.
The big picture for Gemini in 2027
Jupiter in Leo, your third house, is a gift for a sign that lives on ideas. From January to July it favours writing, teaching, courses, local projects and conversations with siblings and neighbours. If you have been meaning to start a newsletter, learn a language or finally say the thing you have been rehearsing, this is the stretch for it. Jupiter turns direct on 13 April, so plans that stalled over the winter start moving again from mid April onwards. Then on 26 July Jupiter enters Virgo, your fourth house of home, family and roots, where it stays for the rest of the year. For a sign that is usually out and about, the second half of 2027 may surprise you by how much satisfaction you find in a kitchen table, a spare room turned into a study, or a parent you have not spoken to properly in a while.
Saturn in Aries, your eleventh house, is about friendships and the groups you belong to. Saturn does not take anything away that is genuinely yours, but it does test what is loose. Geminis collect acquaintances easily, and this year sorts the ones who turn up from the ones who only text. Saturn is retrograde from 9 August to 24 December, a time for reviewing those commitments rather than making new ones.
Uranus in Gemini, your first house, is the restless one. It turns direct on 8 February and retrograde again on 15 September. Between those dates it is moving forward, and you may feel most keen to change your look, your routine or your direction. You do not have to overhaul everything. One honest change usually does more than five half hearted ones.
Neptune is also in Aries, your eleventh house, softening your view of friends and shared hopes. It can make you idealise people. Combined with Saturn in the same house, the year asks you to keep your dreams for the future and check them against what people actually do. Neptune is retrograde from 9 July to 15 December.
Pluto sits in Aquarius, your ninth house of travel, study and beliefs, for many years to come. Slowly, it changes what you believe and how far you are willing to go to find out more. It is retrograde from 8 May to 18 October.
Love and relationships in 2027
Your seventh house of partnerships gets a good run of attention. Venus is in Sagittarius from 7 January to 3 February, which brightens the start of the year for couples and gives single Geminis a reason to say yes to invitations. The Full Moon in Sagittarius on 19 June brings something in a relationship to a head, often a conversation that has been building since the spring.
The autumn is lively. Mars enters Sagittarius on 16 October and stays until 25 November, with Venus joining it from 1 November. That is six weeks of real energy in your relationship house: a good time to make decisions together, to argue things out properly and to put plans in place. The New Moon in Sagittarius on 28 November is a fresh start for a partnership, whether that means a first step with someone new or a new chapter with someone old.
Romance and fun belong to your fifth house, Libra. Mars is there from 15 July to 2 September, and Venus from 14 September to 8 October, so late summer and early autumn are your most playful stretch. Mercury turns retrograde on 7 October and slips back into Libra from 16 to 28 October. You are the zodiac's best talker, but even you can misread a tone in a message, so in that fortnight ask what someone meant before you decide.
Your own sign gets Venus from 8 June to 3 July, straight after your birthday. You will be easy to like during those weeks. Use it.
Work and money in 2027
Career matters come into focus early. The Sun enters Pisces, your tenth house, on 18 February, and the New Moon there on 8 March is a good moment to set a professional intention for the year. Mercury, however, turns retrograde in Pisces on 9 February and does not turn direct until 3 March, so that spell is better for reviewing your position than for launching anything. Venus moves through Pisces from 26 March to 20 April, which helps your reputation and makes people more inclined to support you.
The Full Moon in Pisces on 16 September is the other career high point, often when something begun in March is completed or recognised.
Money in the personal sense is your second house, Cancer. Mercury turns retrograde at 6° Cancer on 10 June, so the second half of June is a time to double check bills, contracts and anything with a signature on it. The New Moon in Cancer on 4 July, the same day Mercury turns direct, is a clean slate for your finances. Venus follows from 3 to 27 July, a pleasant period for earning and for spending wisely.
Shared money, debts and joint resources sit in your eighth house, Capricorn. The year opens with the Sun and Mercury there, and the New Moon on 7 January is a sensible day to look at what you owe and what you share. The penumbral lunar eclipse in Capricorn on 18 July can bring a joint financial matter to a conclusion. From 25 November both Venus and Mars are in Capricorn, and the New Moon there on 27 December gives you one more chance to tidy things up before the year ends.
Day to day work is your sixth house, Scorpio. Mars is there from 2 September to 16 October, a productive but demanding spell, and Mercury's retrograde station on 7 October falls in the same house. Plan for a few hiccups in your routine around then.
