What this tool does

This is a daily horoscope that is genuinely personal. Instead of one reading for everyone born in the same month, it works out where the Sun, Moon and planets are today and how they line up with your own birth chart, then writes you a short reading for the day: the mood of the Moon, the planetary contacts that stand out for you, and a practical tip.

It changes every day, because the sky does, so it is worth coming back each morning.

When to use it

Use it as a morning check in, before a big day, or whenever you want a moment of reflection. It works from your date of birth alone; adding your birth time and town makes it much more personal, because it can then tell you which area of your life the Moon is lighting up today and include contacts to your rising sign and Midheaven.

How it works

The tool calculates your birth chart, then the positions of all the planets right now, and finds every close angle between today's planets and the points in your chart. It notes which are building and which are fading, and the reading focuses on the strongest. Positions are calculated astronomically, not guessed. Place names come from GeoNames.
